He could go meet the devil himself, and I would still have every right to be angry. He has locked me in a castle with talking teapots and wardrobes that sing for fun. I have every right," I replied, collapsing on the bed. "I do not mean to contradict you, mademoiselle, but you have had simply your freedom and your father taken away. He has had his whole body taken away and his whole life practically ripped out of his hands. Sure, he may have temper issues and he may be slightly vain, but he is trying.
